CHAPTER 1

 Jenni opened the huge double 
doors of Crecent University, 
registration was today, "Jenni!" 
someone called, Victoria ran 
over to to brunette.
"Vicky! It's been a while!" the 
two embraced in a hug, the last 
time Jenni saw her friend was 
right before summer, "Did you 
register yet?"
the older girl asked. "No, did 
you?" "No, I couldn't find my 
way" both walked down the 
long hall, Victoria brushed back 
a lock of her raven
hair & pushed her glasses up 
higher on her nose. "Jenni, is 
that you?" Lina ran up to the 
couple with Gourry in tow, 
"Talk about ironic"
Vicky whispered in Jenni's ear 
and pointed. Erin was coming 
from the opposite direction, 
after introductions were made 
the five of them found
the main hall. "So how do we 
get to the other side!" Gourry 
yelled, the place was packed 
with students .......... and noise, 
people had to
shout to make themselves 
heard. Someone had told them 
the registering table was on the 
other side, even Gourry knew 
that getting across was
nearly immpossible. Jenni had 
an evil grin on her face, "Uh 
oh," said Vicky " I KNOW 
*THAT* look, you're going to 
do it, aren't you?" her
best friend nodded, "Do what?" 
Erin asked. Victoria sighed, 
"Just cover your ears" Jenni put 
her first two fingers in her 
mouth and blew, a
piercing whistle drowned out 
everything else causing poeple 
to cover their ears & clear a 
path. "You just HAD to 
whistle" Vicky grumbled as
they headed for the desired 
table, after what seemed like 
thousands of forms later, the 
Dean handed Jenni two keys, 
explaining that they
could get copies made later. 
Lina was studying the dorm 
chart, "How ironic that we're all 
in the hall" she commented, 
before the red head
could say anything more, Erin 
dragged her off with the group. 
"We stay in Midnight Hall?" the 
level 5 magick user screeched, 
everyone looked
perplexed "What's wrong with 
that?" asked the blond, he 
waited to get hit, but it never 
came. Evidently even Lina 
couldn't answer that,
"Midnight Hall is the best place. 
Everyone who's made a name 
for Crecent stayed in *that* 
hall" "Is it really that big of a 
deal?" the Wiccan
questioned, "YES!" Gourry 
patted Erin on the shoulder, 
"Just don't go against her on this 
one". The group left to find the 
famed hall, " So,
let me get this straight, we were 
all accepted here and (ironicly 
enough) we are all staying in the 
same place......... am I the only 
one
here who thinks that's just a 
little bit more than a 
coincidince?" Lina had been 
trying to figure out the entire 
thing for the last half
hour, the others agreed except 
for Jenni who was off on cloud 
nine. Vicky looked at the map 
of the campus, "Midnight Hall is 
supposed to be a big place, I 
wonder who else is staying 
there?" Erin was willing to bet 
that some other strange people 
would show up. "There it is!" 
Jenni
cried excitedly, it stood on a hill 
that overlooked most of the 
campus "We have to walk up 
and down THAT everyday?" 
Lina complained "Do you
REALLY want to get hurt or 
something?" the Wiccan 
whispered in the sorceress's 
ear, the quickest way to piss 
the level 5 user was to
complain.
They climbed the hill (a little 
slow in SOMEONE'S opinion, 
but they DID climb it) "Well, 
*finally* there here" a voice 
boomed, Leina-chan
stopped short 'I *know* *that* 
vioce from anywhere' she 
thought, "Gaav?" the Chaos 
Dragon stepped into view,"It's 
about time someone got here
with the damn key" he 
complained. He stopped, 
"Jenni? What the hell are you 
doing here?" Vicky whistled, 
Erin stared Jenn giggled, it was 
fun
seeing people's reactions when 
they first meet Gaav, was kind 
of tall. "We could ask you the 
same thing" Lina shot back, 
"Guys, I'd like you
to meet a friend of mine, this is 
Gaav. Gaav, these are a couple 
of old friends this is Vicky and 
Erin" Gaav nodded then turned 
to the matter
at hand "Do you have the key? 
There's a bunch of people 
waiting at the front door" Lina 
narrowed her eyes "Define a 
bunch" Gaav smirked
"Everybody" "Nani?" Come on 
guys, let's let them in" Jenni 
interupted. Indeed there was a 
crowd at the front door, 
"Jenni's got the key" Gaav
nearly sang (scary, ne?) "Oh my 
God......"
"I don't believe it, Jennifer?" a 
young man about a head taller 
stepped foreward, "DEREK!" 
Jenni screamed and tackled him 
into a hug. The
last time she saw him was 3 
years ago, supposedly he had 
moved, the group watched the 
touching reunion "I thought you 
left" he grinned "I'm
back now". "Hey! Key! Now!"  
the Chaos Dragon shouted, 
spoiling the mood "You jerk!" 
Zelas slapped her brother 
"Leave them alone!". Leina
tossed the key up front & two 
seconds later everyone moved 
into the main room, posted to 
the door was a rather long 
sheet of paper. It read *
These are your dorm 
assignments, stick with them.~ 
Luna Inverse* "Neechan's 
working here? Baka"  "What's 
that other list at the bottom?"
someone asked. Zelgadis 
studied it for a moment 
"Well.....(ahem) it seems that 
we have a co-ed room" "Who's 
on the list?" Xellos questioned.
"Christian, Derek, Jenni, 
Gourry, Elisa, Jennifer, Lee, 
and...................Philbrizo" 
"Nani?" the Hellmaster blushed, 
"Hellbrat ina co-ed
room?" Gaav snickered as did 
the other Lords.
"You will sleep in the co-ed 
room starting next week and 
every other week after that". 
Everyone turned "Nnnn......ne- 
Neechan?!" Lina
sputtered unitelligently, Luna 
Inverese stood before them 
"I'm Luna, Lina's big sister, I 
teach English at Moonlight Hall. 
I just came to
explain the list" she vanished. "I 
guess we go to our rooms now" 
Jenni said, so, everyone parted 
& headed for their respective 
dorms.

  "Aahhhhhhh..........mine" Philbrizo claimed as he landed on a bed, Zelgadis just snorted & looked around the room, Gaav slung his bag on another bed and followed Zel's suite "It's too bright in here" he announced all of the walls turned black "Gaav, you're going to get us kicked out before supper" Zelgadis insisted "When *is* supper?" Gourry asked "In three hours" the Chimera answered, claiming a bed "But that's forever!!!!!!" the blond protested. "Wuss" Gaav muttered, "Don't you think it's a little ironic that we all ended up here..............and in the same dorm too" Valgarv commented as he unpacked his suitcase, "I've been wondering about that myself" Zel said. Xellos smiled "Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth now gentlemen, why we're all together isn't important, let's just leave our past behind us" everyone just stared "Fruitcake's a little nuttier than usual" Val whispered, Zel nodded. "Oi Xellos, where's your bag?" Gourry asked "Well, it's not as if he needs a change of clothes" the Chimera     snorted "I mean look at him, he wears the same thing day in and day out" at this point Valgarv snickered. Gourry, who was totally oblivious as to what was going on, picked up a picture that was laying next to the Hellmaster's suitcase "Philbrizo, I think you dropped this..........wow it's a picture of Viv!" "WHAT!!!!!" roared Val and glared daggers at the Lord "Uh oh" Philbrizo muttered, to make matters worse, Gaav & Xellos were on the sidelines eating popcorn. "Philbrizo's in trouble now, Val looks like he's ready to kill. What do you think Gaav?"  'Wonderful,' the short Mazoku thought 'Gaav and Xellos are making commentary like sportscasters'  the Chaos Dragon chuckled "Well Xellos, normally I'd agree with you, but seeing how we're in a dorm, I'm betting Hellbrat will get injured very severly. Yes sir, there's going to be some serious ass kicking tonight!" Zelgadis intervened "I want a place to sleep tonight so, take it outside or better yet, save it for later, I promised the girls that we would ALL meet  them for supper" Valgarv discharged the spell in his hands "Fine, but after supper Hellbrat is going down" "So who's sleeping where?" the simple question snapped everyone back to reality. "That's a good question" *20 MINUTES LATER* "Okay so, Philbrizo will bunk togther with Gourry, Val and I will be bunking-" "Did you say bucking?" Xellos giggled "Kinky" Gaav snickered "Gaav can deal with the Hentai" Val finished lamely.

  Zelas snorted "Small room" Theresa rolled her eyes, NOT everybody has a bedroom the size of a mansion Zelas" she said dryly "Alright you two, calm down" Elisa stepped between them. "I can see you two aren't going to be bunking together. Zelas, why don't and I share a bunkbed, Jennifer you wouldn't mind if you doubled up with Theresa would you?" Jennifer shrugged "I guess not". "Megan that would leave you with Shilphiel, are you two okay with that?" "Not a problem" the brunette responded, "Good," said "*now* can we unpack?" "What about the desks?" Beastmaster asked eyeing the drawers "They check for wine bottles Zelas" Elisa reminded her. "I want a desk" Megan piped up, Elisa & Jennifer shared another one and Theresa got the last one. Everyone began to unpack "Damn! I only have one dress and it's white!" Zelas complained "I believe there's a mall about a mile from here" the priestess offered helpfully, Zelas seemed to consider this bit of information "Ladies, get you purses ready, we're going shopping!"      she snapped her fingers. "Wow! It's huge!" Theresa exclaimed caught in the excitement "Heaven!" Jennifer and Elisa cried in unison. "Zelas, you are my new bset friend" Megan told her, Beastmaster turned to give her a high five "Look, there's the GAP!!!" someone shouted, the group headed for the store "But...but...but" Shilphiel stuttered ( I believe that's Xellos's song dear) Theresa sighed "Come on" she dragged the confused priestess with her.   *LATER* "Tell me Zelas, have you ever had GODIVA chocolate?" Megan questioned, "No" "Then you haven't lived!" the girls insisted as they dragged her to the store.  >>
